A stunning, relatively large Herkimer Diamond with good clarity and natural 18 facets - a signature feature of Herkimer Diamond.  The first discoveries were made in the Middleville village and in the city of Little Falls in the late 18th century and soon became widely recognized.  The rougher faces are where it was hand mined from the rock.  This is a complete 100% natural crystal with no polishing, the beautiful facets are naturally formed, unlike most of the fake Herkimer Diamonds in the market perfectly polished into 18 faces.
