Quartz with Hedenbergite Inclusions from Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia

A cute little dipyramidal terminated Quartz scepters with very well balanced parallel growth of crystals showcasing cumberland habit.  The deep olive-green color is due to hedenbergite inclusions, a classic Mongolian quartz sample.  Some of the prismatic faces appear to have matt lustre in greyish green color due to Calcite Psuedomorph, created a "cone" shaped termination.
