Collector’s Piece: Stilbite and Green Celadonite included Chalcedony from India

Mined in 2018, this is a classic combination specimen from the basalt trap rock Sakur quarries of India featuring a group of Stilbite crystal with Chalcedony on matrix.  The Stilbite cluster is stout and the color is an attractive pink-peach.  The piece is more aesthetic than most as the Green Celadonite included Chalcedony are shimmering and exhibit sharp spherical shape.  At a closer look, they are distinct sprays of acicular crystals which gives this piece added interest and rarity to the already impressive composition of this colorful Indian Zeolite specimen!  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
 
All productions in India has come to a near standstill due to the 2021 Covid outbreak, our miners told us that there’d be no new Indian specimens at least in the coming one year. Prices have already increased sharply for specimens mined before 2021 and it is still rising.
