Fluorescent Sphalerite with Dolomite from Dongxiang Co., China

This is a complete floater specimen!  Fluorescent Sphalerite is considered rare mineral and this piece displays medium gold fluorescence occurring on the back side of the specimen, under longwave UV lighting 365nm.  Mined in April 2021 from the Dongxiang Co. of China, the specimen is composed of intergrown cubic, splendid crystals of Sphalerite which display vitreous luster and metallic black color.  Pearly white crystals of Dolomite aesthetically perched on the Sphalerite cluster, ascending overall contrast and beauties, outstanding!  Comes with a high quality acrylic display box.
