A top quality specimen druse with spheroidal aggregates of very well defined trapezohedral Spessartine Garnet crystals from the world renowned Wushan Mine. Grown on a very thin plate of Feldspar, the very sparkly Garnets are between translucent and transparent and have a very intense, orange-red and orange colors, mesmerizing!
The first specimens of Chinese garnet associated with smoky quartz and feldspar appeared on the market in 1998. After many years of plentiful specimens, this locality has pretty much been depleted and had been shut down by the Chinese government many years ago. World-class specimens from this locality are now one of the most sort after pieces in the world.
