A beautiful combination of precious Spessartine Garnet and Smoky Quartz on Orthoclase Feldspar Matrix. This piece really has it all! The specimen is comprised of an Orthoclase Feldspar aggregate with a smattering of bright orange colored, lustrous and gemmy Spessartine Garnet crystals accented by Smoky Quartz crystals bursting forth from the top of the Feldspar matrix.  All in all, you would be hard pressed to find this specimen's equal from the standpoint of sheer artistic beauty and superior quality. Comes with a high quality acrylic display box.

The first specimens of Chinese garnet associated with smoky quartz and feldspar appeared on the market in 1998. After many years of plentiful specimens, this locality has pretty much been depleted and had been shut down by the Chinese government many years ago. Spessartine garnet specimens from this locality are now very sort after in the market.
