This is a transparent to translucent Phantom Quartz scepter with Tourmaline var. Schorl inclusions from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia.  The Quartz formed over the black Schorl Tourmaline crystals has excellent luster.  The specimen was produced from one of the many gem-bearing pegmatite veins in the Erongo Mountain area in Namibia and is in superb condition.  Some of the Schorl Tourmaline as elongated prismatic crystals have grown outside the Quartz in a jet black color, aesthetic and yet very unique.
