This is a unique and eye-catching display specimen from the heyday of this mine in the late 2000s.  Jet-black, lustrous and opaque intensely Smoky Quartz crystals atop a Feldspar matrix from Wulian Co., Shandong, China.  The nice color contrast with the associated beige colored Feldspar is superb and striking.  Dozens of Calcite discs aesthetically perched on the Feldspar matrix underneath, adding real pizzazz to the piece.  It is a really good large cabinet specimen in this condition from this find, seldom do you get a plate like this in such condition, and with such black-on-beige contrast.  I only have one piece to offer, which my father purchased in 2001.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
