A large, mesmerizing piece of Quartz var. Chalcedony from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.  The Chalcedony exhibits two crystal habits – botryoidal and stalactite.  It has a pearly and waxy luster which makes it irresistible to look at!   It glows when backlit as the top surface is translucent.  This is a unique, beautiful and very sculptural centrepiece!
