A very pleasing array of gemmy purple Quartz var. Amethyst specimen measuring to 17.4 with perfect terminations from the Catalán Grande Quarry, Catalán Grande, Artigas Department, Uruguay.  The exposed stalactitic surfaces have been slightly polished to show its best quality.  All terminations of the Amethyst crystals are intact without any damages, the color is the most desired, exceedingly vivid royal purple!  Stands perfectly as shown on the 3rd and 4th photos, this is an excellent centerpiece to add on to any collection!
