This is a fine, pretty cluster of brassy, striated Pyrite crystals on Quartz from the famed Daye Copper Mine in China.  Set in a nest of milky to translucent Quartz crystals are the cubic Pyrite crystals with modified edges and corners.  This belongs to my father's private collection bought in the early 1990's, a top quality combination piece, representative of the locality and in excellent condition.
