Prehnite and Quartz with Babingtonite from Meigu Co. China

Excavated in 2017, this is a complete floater without any damages, a perfect piece that can be displayed 360 degree, mesmerizing!  It was one of the few pieces that was literally “picked up” by my miner’s friend from the bottom of the pocket which was so deep and narrow that could only fit one person at a time for mining, so precious!  We do not see specimen of this quality anymore from the Meigu Co. since 2018.  Gem quality, glass-clear Quartz points nestled in a “bed” of medium yellow-green colored Prehnite, they are very sparkly and lustrous.  The matrix of thick translucent Prehnite is crystallized all the way around which display botryoidal crystal habit.  The underside also has excellent quality, translucent Prehnite upon which are emplaced tabular, prismatic black Babingtonite crystals.  A remarkable piece that is complete all around with supreme 3-dimensional mounded form.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
