Pink Dolomite Crystal Cluster from Dongpo, Hunan, China
Dimension: 4.9cm x 3.5cm x 1.8cm
Locality: Dongpo Ore Field, Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China
An attractive, collector-quality specimen from an exhausted deposit in mineral-rich Hunan Province. This specimen is from a large crystal-lined pocket encountered in 2016. The specimen features lustrous light pink, saddle-shaped dolomite crystals. It is more lustrous and beautiful in person!
The Dongpo Ore Field is a silver-lead-zinc deposit having several active mines and produced some of the most expensive cube-octahedral green fluorite crystals with dolomite specimen in the past.
