A spray of sharp terminated Quartz crystals, with Hematite and Hedenbergite Inclusions, from 2007-2008 discoveries at the Huanggang Mine. There is now a sharp decrease in the flow of specimens from Huanggang mine over the last few years, and the main workings had been closed since last year.
Historically, Quartz has always been thought of as a magical and a healing crystal. Crystal balls were used for predicting the future. It was also thought to protect against disease and repel demons. It was thought to be an energetic and a strong stone.
