The Huanggang complex has brought us dozens of contemporary finds over the past 50 years. These came out about 8 years ago and were bought up very quickly. This specimen has a 2cm wide central crystal with several smaller quartz growing around it. They all have a wonderful sheen and exhibits breathtaking finely detailed chiseled etching in elestial form, very aesthetically arranged and a rare combinations.
These quartz crystals have a green center due to Chlorite inclusion, which gives it a unique coloration. The crystals are preferentially coated with Feldspar and Magnetite crystals and are a fine accent. Another impressive quartz specimen from this remote skarn deposit in Inner Mongolia.
