This eye-catching piece is a complete floater specimen! Excavated from the Dongchuan Cu ore field from May to June 2021, these new combo specimens WOW the Chinese mineral collecting world. Aggregates of pastel green Malachite crystals aesthetically encrust the Quartz cluster in places, the beauty of the piece is further enhanced by micro-crystallized pastel blue Chrysocolla perched on the Malachite aggregates which has a distinct ball shape, so amazing! The Malachite crystals richly and aesthetically cover much of the Quartz matrix, and there are even dozens of highly crystallized, prismatic tabular Azurite nestled above the Malachite, mesmerizing! Obtained directly from the miner’s home on-site, this is not only a fine specimen but also an outstanding combination rarity of mineral history, from time and place.
