A beautiful, naturally 18-faceted Herkimer Diamond which displays perfect double terminations, exceedingly high transparency and superb luster. The specimen exhibits unique dissolution-growth features on the Quartz surface resulting from unstable conditions during crystallization.  It is full of aesthetic inclusions, adding real pizzazz to the piece.  The first discoveries were made in the Middleville village and in the city of Little Falls in the late 18th century and soon became widely recognized. Acquired by my father at least 20 years ago when he visited the States for business, this is a complete 100% natural crystal without polishing, the beautiful facets are naturally formed, unlike most of the fake Herkimer Diamonds in the market perfectly polished into 18 faces. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
