This is a very special new Calcite species discovered from a one-time small pocket find of Qinglong Mine in March 2020 in which only a handful of specimens was produced. Exceedingly vitreous due to the transparent, bladed tabular Gypsum crystals coating, it is so rare and impressive! Divergent sprays of Dogtooth Calcite in an eye-catching candy orange color interlinked to form this beautiful cluster with perfect terminations. When these came to the market they were quickly snapped up (well only a few was available) and then disappeared, completely. They are not just Calcite but have elevated to a beautiful jewelry mineral piece that is immediately recognizable! Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand as pictured.
