Green Epidote on Quartz from Hongquizhen Quarry, Meigu Co., China

Lustrous green crystals of well-formed, highly crystalized Epidote scattered throughout the Quartz matrix in places.  A perfect radiating, interconnected Epidote crystals grouping can be observed while others display slender prismatic crystal shape, very interesting.  The Quartz crystals are highly lustrous, transparent to translucent.  Acquired in 2015, this would make an exceptional example of this now scarce material from the Hongquizhen Quarry in Sichuan, China.
