An excellent Goethite pseudomorph specimen featuring beautiful Marcasite crystal morphology, showing forms and habits exhibited by the heavily crystallized Marcasite from the famous Farafra Oasis of Egypt. This locality has been known for a number of years and pseudomorph specimens have come out once in a while, this came from a recent 2020 find. Goethite after Marcasite specimen of this extremely distinct, sharp formation have been uncommon. Small Calcite crystals of yellow-orange color sprinkled on the specimen in places, adding real pizzazz to the piece. Complete all-around, this would make a nice addition to any collections! Comes with a high quality acrylic display box.
