A wow factor first seen at the 2018’s Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, this is a new combination to the mineral collecting world, unprecedented to collectors. The association of Goethite with Malachite creates a highly contrasting visual effect in terms of color and texture. The Goethite completely coated the globular Malachite on the display side, it is so chatoyant that has an incredible rainbow iridescence and metallic luster. These extraordinary pieces started appearing on the Chinese mineral market in mid 2014, supplies are very limited and hard to obtain an example of nowadays! A perfect and outstanding example of the species and the locale, simply mesmerizing! This is the second last piece left. Comes with a high quality metal display stand.
