A top quality gem Scheelite from the famous Mount Xuebaoding, in a classical toffee-orange color.  Scheelite from Mount Xuebaoding in Sichuan Province has been recognized as the world's best and the finest specimens are always sold at auctions.  The Scheelite crystal is bright, perfectly terminated with super high lustre and gemminess.  Two distinct aggregates of bladed, metallic silvery Muscovite crystals in the form of "flowers" grown on the prism, adding real pizzazz to the piece.  Two colorless tabular crystals of Beryl var. Goshenite can also be seen on the underside of the specimen, so stunning!

Scheelite is named after Swedish chemist and amateur mineralogist Carl Wilhelm Scheele, who discovered the element Tungsten from Scheelite-Tungsten comes from two Swedish words, "tung" meaning heavy and "sten" meaning stone or rock.
