The dipyramidal Scheelite crystals are bright, perfectly terminated with vitreous lustre and gemminess. Associated with aggregates of bladed, metallic-silver Muscovite and jet black Cassiterite, aesthetic and outstanding! The Scheelite crystals display a bright yellow fluorescence under UV lighting (365 nm).
Scheelite is named after Swedish chemist and amateur mineralogist Carl Wilhelm Scheele, who discovered the element Tungsten from Scheelite-Tungsten comes from two Swedish words, "tung" meaning heavy and "sten" meaning stone or rock.
