Locality: Xiayang, Yongchun Co., Quanzhou Prefecture, Fujian, China
From a new discovery in 2016, these gemmy, rich purple-blue Fluorite of dodecahedral crystal habit on matrix lined with druzy and sparkly Quartz crystals. Transparent with beautiful phantoms showing wispy purple-blue threads like feathers floating inside the Fluorite, incredible! Every single one of the Fluorite is of jewel grade, gem quality and notably well-formed.
These are commonly known as “tanzanite fluorite” because the color resembles the blue of tanzanite. It is so difficult to capture the lustre and color of the crystals on photos but I guarantee that it is way more beautiful in person.
