A two-sided specimen from the famous Yaogangxian Mine which contains 5 minerals - Fluorite, Scheelite, Chalcopyrite, Calcite and Quartz.  Cubic, lustrous and translucent crystals of Fluorite with deep purple edges set on a think plate of matrix fully covered by a thin layer of micro-crystals of white Calcite creating the "snow" effect.  The display side are densely "dusted" with sparkly Chalcopyrite with tiny transparent Quartz points growing in between the Fluorite cubes.  If you have a good eye or a loupe, you will be able to see the perfect little honey colored octahedral crystals of Scheelite sparsely sprinkled on the surface with all terminations intact, magnificent!
 
Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
 
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colours fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
