A phenonmenal museum quality, gigantic Fluorite specimen measuring 23cm across from the world-class Qinglong Mine of China! No one would object if I called this the queen of Fluorite, the beauty of it is off the chart!!! It is in perfect condition without any damages, every single crystals on the crust are beautifully terminated. The cubic Fluorite crystals exhibit modified deep purple edges and corners composed of small, stepped surfaces. The color of the Fluorite is a saturated royal purple. Additionally, it has a blue color center zoning, adding real pizzazz to the piece! Associate with translucent to creamy white Quartz which has a mounded, spherical habit and is very sparkly. The largest Fluorite crystals are measuring 3.8cm x 3.8cm and 3.4cm x 3.4cm, exceptional! It exhibits a bright blue fluorescence under UV lighting (365 nm), the video doesn't show but it is a really bright blue fluorescence in person.
Fluorite of these kinds from Qinglong Mine started appearing in the market in early 2019 and soon became popular amongst the Chinese mineral collectors so not everyone gets to see these beauties, at all! The locals called it "The QR Code Fluorite" as some of them do have surfaces resembling the QR code.

Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colours fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
