This is something that you won’t see everyday, I must say it is a very one-of-a-kind Fluorite and Quartz combination piece mined in the remote Weilasituo Silver Mine in 2015. Two aqua blue Fluorite cubes with a deep purple center zoning aesthetically perched on a Quartz matrix, one of them exhibits natural Fluorite dissolution on the surface. Natural Fluorite dissolution of Fluorite surfaces is quite a common feature of Chinese Fluorite, especially those from Jiangxi Province, Inner Mongolia and the Yaogangxian Mine. Botryoidal crust of creamy yellow Mica crystals and Epidote micro crystals aesthetically enveloped the Quartz, ascending beauty and colors. Some metallic silver Arsenopyrite crystals embedded in the Quartz matrix, giving it a shimmering look. As a bonus, the Fluorite crystals display a bright blue fluorescence under longwave UV lighting 365nm. This is a dramatic and colorful display piece for what you get of the quality and minerals combinations from this locality. Comes with a high quality metal display stand.

Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colors fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
