An absolute Yaogangxian beauty!  This is a highly representative piece which has perfect, complex intergrown and terminations from the famous Yaogangxian Mine.  The Fluorite crystal is highly lustrous with great transparency, it exhibits a bright blue fluorescence under UV lighting (365nm).  Brassy-gold micro-crystals of Pyrite finely "dusted" in the right places.  Associated with green Epidote on the underside, this is such an extraordinary piece!

Acquired in 2018, this level of Fluorite is hardly seen and almost impossible to obtain even at the source now as mining activities are restricted in the Yaogangxian area.  Fine specimens from this locale are now very sort after by collectors in the world.
 
Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
 
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colours fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
