The beauties of this are completely off the charts, and it’s a complete floater specimen! Natural iridescent Chalcopyrite is not uncommon but in the very crystallized forms like this is extremely rare and one-of-a-kind. Well-formed aggregates of Chalcopyrite tetrahedrons which display spectacular rainbow iridescence that is dominated by electric blue, pink and orange! The Chalcopyrite crystals exhibits minor modifications and finely textured growth features. The wide array of colors change with the direction of the light source, outstanding! This belongs to my father’s long-kept rare mineral collections, he had four pieces in total and this is the LAST PIECE LEFT. The superb contrast and shape make this an excellent specimen from anywhere not only because of the mineral combinations but the gorgeous colors. As a bonus, the Calcite displays an orange fluorescence under longwave UV lighting 365nm. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
