This is a museum-calibre, large cabinet specimen of Native Copper acquired in around 1990 from the Keweenaw Peninsula, USA.  And it is a complete floater specimen in perfect condition, miraculous!  One would be considered lucky to own this spectacular species at this significant size with notable crystallization.  Fine Native Copper specimen of this quality is highly sought-after by collectors in the world.  This impressive piece exhibits highly lustrous crystals of Copper in a perfect rose-red/copper-red color.  The chlorite-rich matrix boasts coloration, magnifying the contrasting impression, so stunning!  This specimen would make a valuable addition to any fine mineral collection as a rare and exceptional example of Native Copper, marked by size, quality, condition, and a dramatic composition.

I only have 22 pieces to offer as it was brought back from the US by my father back in the 1990’s, every single one of them is equally precious for me as they are classic, old-time, Michigan Copper Country material which should only be seen in auctions. The photos don’t do it justice as it’s way more beautiful in person! Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
