Collector's Piece: Aragonite from Wenshan Co., China

Mined in 2015, the vivid colors and quality of this piece is one of the best I have ever seen!  Aggregates of white-colored botryoidal Aragonite splendidly scattered on a larger crust of Aragonite which exhibits extremely saturated, vivid colors of green, blue and seafoam green.  The colors are even better in person, how amazing!  The “iceburg” signature characteristic of Wenshan’s Aragonite is best shown on the back side of the specimen.  It has a very velvety silky sheen which gives it a “wet” look.  Aragonite of this coloration cannot be found anywhere else.  A very attractive piece that is representative of the locality and species.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
