A beautiful, extra large Labradorite Crystal Sphere handpicked from a wholesale lot of around 1,000kg.  Labradorite is a feldspar mineral of the plagioclase series that is most often found in mafic igneous rocks such as basalt, gabbro, and norite.  It is also found in anorthosite, an igneous rock in which labradorite can be the most abundant mineral.  The stone, usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, or coppery red.
