This is a museum quality large specimen featuring dozens of pink Dogtooth Calcite crystals rest on a matrix from the world renowned Daye Copper Mine.  The perfectly terminated crystals exhibit an attractive salmon-pink color due to inclusions of Hematite and show a beautiful phantom at one end.  The Calcite has a very high luster and is translucent to transparent in places.  Some of the smaller Calcite crystals are clear to white in color, but a few have a light pinkish orange color due to included Hematite.  The Calcite displays a bright and intense reddish pink fluorescence under UV lighting (365 nm).  A very fine, world-class Dogtooth Calcite specimen from this famous locale, the pink color is more intense in person than photos.
