Very attractive single, pseudo-cubic red Apophyllite crystal coming off matrix with only a small contact point (i.e. almost a complete floater) from Nashik Quarry of India.  The photos don't do justice as it is way more beautiful in person!  Red Apophyllite is a hydrated pottassium calcium silicate and is a rarer form of Apophyllite than the green and colorless ones.  Druzy Quartz crystals partially coated some surfaces of the Apophyllite sparkle like snow or sugar coatings, mesmerizing!
