This is an incredibly striking Uruguayan Amethyst and Calcite specimen that is even better in person since the intense purple color and gemminess that you see only in these Uruguayan Amethyst did not come through completely in the photos.  Perfect, rounded stalagtite, covered all around with Amethyst crystals which exhibit an extraordinary color and brilliance.  Associated with a large piece of Calcite that is lustrous and translucent, giving it a dramatic appearance and contrasting visual effect, amazing!  The red substance included in the Calcite are Hematite.  This impressive piece is pristine with top color.  Comes with a high quality acrylic display stand.
