This is a very unique and a winning display specimen of Hematite var. Specularite "iron rose" beautifully set at the base of a large Quartz crystals.  Pristine and well terminated Quartz crystal neatly accented by brownish red Hematite tinted terminations. The area without the Hematite coating displays the very transparent center of the Quartz.  The striking spherical Hematite “iron rose” of this size and supreme condition is a rarity due to the harsh mining environment.  A top quality specimen, highly representative of the species and locale which can be displayed 360-degree, phenomenal!
