This is a significant old time material from the world-famous Daye Copper Mine in China composing an incredible ball of lustrous, brassy-gold, intergrown Pyrite crystals on matrix.  The piece is totally pristine and came from a one-time find back in 2004.  Pyrite in extremely well-crystallized examples of botryoidal agglomerations is very rare and this specimen is really cool and unique.  Nestling in a matrix of fluorescent Calcite and creamy white Dolomite crystals, forming a most attractive specimen.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
