This is certainly one of the most aesthetic fibrous Malachite specimens I have ever seen. Looking at it, dramatic sprays of velvety Malachite tightly packed to form this eye-catching cluster, the locality is Mashamba West Mine of DR Congo. Divergent crystals of Malachite in this sharp, prismatic shape is rare. It appears to have super lustrous “ice fields” of Malachite cascading down the “mountains” of deep green radiating crystals. It is extremely chatoyant that have an incredible velvety, silky texture and vitreous lustre when moving lighting while viewing. The color varies from deep green to bright green. It’s really sculptural and spectacular in person, a precious perfect specimen for connoisseur collectors!
