Strikingly attractive, iridescent Chalcopyrite on Dogtooth Calcite from a limited 2014 find in the world-class Daye Copper Mine of China. Artful dusting of rainbow iridescent, sparkly Chalcopyrite crystals on the tips of the Dogtooth Calcites is a rare occurrence. The exceedingly lustrous Calcite displays two generations growth – the inner core Dogtooth Calcites first emerged from the matrix then gradually covered by another layer of transparent Calcite. These are truly something unique and breathtaking. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand as pictured.
