This is a very aesthetic specimen of Hematite tinted Quartz with Pyrite and Chalcopyrite crystals from the Dongxiang Co. of China.  Set in a nest of vitreous and transparent Quartz crystals are the high crystalized, dramatically striated cubic Pyrite crystals.  The tetrahedral Chalcopyrite crystals with a striking rich gold color add real pizzazz to the piece, mesmerizing!  A top quality combination piece, representative of the locality and in supreme condition.  It is way more beautiful in person than the photos!  Comes with a high quality display stand made of pure copper and acrylic.
