This is a jaw-dropping display of Goethite studded Malachite from the Sepon Mine in Laos.  Acquired in 2020, I would say this is a new combination to the mineral collecting world, unprecedented to collectors.  The Goethite “suns” perfectly “studded” on a bed of Fibrous Malachite, forming a landscape which reminds me of volcanoes mountains, so unique and interesting!  The piece can be displayed 360 degree of which the other side is composed of chatoyant Cat’s Eye Malachite that is velvety and silky, how amazing!  This is the only piece that I have of this quality and species.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
