A breathtaking piece of art from the Liufengshan Mine of China.  It is totally a perfect sculpture created by the mother nature!  Spheres of Goethite coated Malachite perched onto the eye-catching blue-green Chrysocolla matrix in places.  The Chrysocolla matrix resembles waves of ocean creating shockingly beautifuly visual effect.  The distinct "patches" of Azurite crystals exhibit gorgeous bright royal blue color which reminds me of the Azurite Suns from Australia.  A well-balanced winning display piece for connoisseur collectors!

Liufengshan Mine is well-known for two types of Azurite – extremely crystallized Azurite of which the crystals are usually of a larger size and are thicker; Azurite with Chrysocolla and Malachite pseudomorph which shows a dazzling range of colors and a significantly bright blue Azurite.
