This is an important specimen for this world-renowned, first-class locality of the Yaogangxian Mine in China.  The brassy gold, occuring as grainy groups of small, distorted crystals of Chalcopyrite have been partially coated with Boulangerite as a pseudo.  The Chalcopyrite/Boulangerite aggregates cling to an exceedingly lustrous, well-terminated crystal of Quartz, creating an architectural and aesthetic appearance.  This is for sure a fine specimen, it’s even better in person.  Comes with a high quality acrylic display box.
