This is an extremely rare species of Azurite (even for the Chinese!) with a deep royal blue color from the Chengmenshan Mine, Jiangxi, China.  Bands of Azurite aggregates intergrown with contrasting white Kaolinite matrix, outstanding!  Displays wonderfully, the eye catching color combination and formation make this one-of-a-kind piece!  The was my father's private collection (and now mine!) acquired in around 2002-2003, I have only seen 2 to 3 pieces of the same kind and this is the only piece I have, very precious!  A high quality acrylic display box is included in the price.
