Locality: Liufengshan Mine, Guichi District, Chizhou, Anhui, China
From a new find at the Liufengshan Mine of China mined in March 2021, this limited pocket features extremely gemmy and highly crystalized, squarish to diamond shaped Azurite crystals intergrown with Malachite. Azurite from this pocket reminds me of the classic Bisbee Azurite rosette that is so sharply formed and distinct. The Azurite crystals exhibit an incredibly saturated deep royal blue color and are exceedingly lustrous, mesmerizing! The super sparkly Azurite crystals cover the entire display face along with accents of bright green fibrous Malachite. The fibrous Malachite crystals with a brilliant emerald-green color just under the Azurite adds ultra coloration and contrast to the piece, mesmerizing! The specimen is so gorgeous that it could be displayed in a couple of different orientations. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
We are an expert in Azurite because of our special and well-maintained relationships with the miners in the area. I’d acquired the best pieces of the pocket, to share with minerals enthusiast (like me :-P) at a reasonable price.
