Phenomenal, large assemble of this well-known material of Chrysocolla pseudomorph after Malachite from the Lupoto Mine, Katanga, D.R. Congo.  Some says it’s Chrysocolla on Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite but the exposed cross-sections reveal that the core is entirely Malachite.  In addition, upon close examination with good light, one can see the Malachite are very crystallized and sparkly.  The eye-catching Chrysocolla crystals in the most desired vivid sky blue color have a spiky appearance, a signature feature of Chrysocolla from this locale.  It is complete all around, the sky blue color is even better in person.  This is such a killer piece for connoisseur collectors!
