This is an outstanding Red Hematite Quartz specimen representative of the species and the locality. Excavated from the renowned Dongxiang Co. of China in 2020, the very saturated red color of the Quartz caused by red Hematite tinting and inclusions is very eye catching and impressive. Some very brilliant Tetrahedrite crystals with the surfaces covered in red-colored Hematite and brassy gold micro crystals of Chalcopyrite, fascinating!  The Tetrahedrite crystals display irregular tetrahedral twinning, they are very well-formed and distinct.  The piece will be aesthetically set in a high quality acrylic display box especially made for exhibiting specimens.
