A beautiful specimen featuring a deep blue radiating crystals of Cavansite, perched upon sparkling Stilbite crystals in greenish-blue color.  A gorgeous, perfectly-proportioned Cavansite and in excellent condition.  The Cavansite crystal is highly lustrous, it is just too difficult to capture its glory and beauty in the photos.
 
This came from Wagholi in Pune District, India, the world renowed locality where top quality specimen of cavansite and pentagonite is found. Due to expansion of localities around, mines are almost on the verge of closing down.  Fine and undamaged specimen like this is very sort after as damages to the Cavansite has always occurred during mining process where explosives are used.
 
Cavansite is one of the purest blue stones and are usually very small in size.  Color ranges from deep aquamarine blue to greenish blue.  These crystals are found in India, New Zealand and Brazil.
