A complete floater specimen in pristine condition mined in March 2021 at the Shilu Mine of China.  Malachite of this species is called "The Cat's Eye Malachite" by the local Chinese due to their exceedingly chatoyant characteristic that have an incredible cat’s eye appearance on the crystal surface when moving lighting while viewing.  It has proven to be difficult to acquire beautiful, undamaged and large cabinet specimens of this species on the mineral market nowadays.  The piece exhibits a velvety and silky texture but is also very sculptural and 3-dimentional due to the dramatic botryoidal crystal shape, impressive!  This is a very attractive and aesthetic large cabinet specimen that is perfect in condition.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
