Azurite from Laos can rank among the world’s finest!  Gem quality electric blue, highly crystallized Azurite intergrown to form a matrix.  The bladed Azurite are exceedingly bright and translucent.  The aesthetics of the piece are off the charts!  Aggregate of botryoidal Cat's Eye Malachite, similar to those from the Shilu Mine of China, perched onto the Azurite matrix and is almost completely floating.  The Malachite is extremely chatoyant that have an incredible cat's eye appearance on each crystal and has a velvety, silky texture.  While it looks great in the photos, it's even more spectacular in person as it shows cat's eyes when moving lighting while viewing.

The combination of which creates a nice visual counterpoint.  Miniature specimen of this top quality is very difficult to find.  Thanks to our long-term, well-maintained relationship with the suppliers in Asia and Laos, I am able to acquire the most beautiful and rarest pieces of all.
